From what i think, Love is when you will try to protect that person no matter what. You will want that person to be happy forever. And never wished for any bad things to fall on them. Like how i always feel like praying for my parents for i am afraid they might get into accidents, like getting run down by a vehicle, because i am afraid to lose them. To me, Love can also change someone. If you have a friend who is very lazy and always fail to complete their work. What will you do to change them?
If it was me, then i will most probably start doing homework with her instead. Maybe spending the time with her doing homework also allows both of our relationship to improve and to help her to stop procrastinating and to do her work. Then through this, people can feel my love for them by caring and helping them.
If a King loves his people, what do you think he will do to show love?
