9:06 PMTo me, Love is sharing what you have with others. When you get back your results recently, when you score better than your close friends, do you notice something? do you notice that they feel disappointed in their own results? thats is exactly what i realised and noticed.. although i got results that are above my expectations, i really didnt feel happy when my friend felt sad. what should i do?
When she called me after her Parent-Teacher meeting, she told me that her father looked very disappointed and in actual fact, he is quite disappointed... at that instance, i said this " dont worry, from now on if you dont understand anything, you can ask me, i will stay back and teach you. " after i hung up, i thought through what i said, i realised its an act out of love. Love can make us do things that are unexpected! Love is miraculous!

7:23 PMHmmm, what is love to me?
From what i think, Love is when you will try to protect that person no matter what. You will want that person to be happy forever. And never wished for any bad things to fall on them. Like how i always feel like praying for my parents for i am afraid they might get into accidents, like getting run down by a vehicle, because i am afraid to lose them. To me, Love can also change someone. If you have a friend who is very lazy and always fail to complete their work. What will you do to change them?
If it was me, then i will most probably start doing homework with her instead. Maybe spending the time with her doing homework also allows both of our relationship to improve and to help her to stop procrastinating and to do her work. Then through this, people can feel my love for them by caring and helping them.
If a King loves his people, what do you think he will do to show love?

give up his umbrella , concerned that person might get sick.
In life, we may encounter such experiences where we see people in need, we want to help them but do not have the courage to stand out.I think

6:06 PMI've heard from my Pastor in my Church talking about Jealousy.
WHAT CAN JEALOUSY DO?
It can destroy relationships. Have you ever been jealous about your loved ones?
I have. I was jealous of my best friend's scores for her test, even rejoiced when she did worse than me. Even when i loved her, i was still jealous of her.
And if i allowed this jealousy to take over me, our friendship would have ended because of that.
So, do not ever allow jealousy to overcome you. Its normal to have jealousy within you, but do not let it control you. Instead, you control it.
My suggestion is, you try to find joy in the success of your loved ones. Celebrate with them, rejoice with them. And work hard not because of competing, but to do your best! And show love to them that friends are more important than competitions through your actions. Even if you get the first prize, but have no friends, there is no meaning to it.
If you really love them and do not want to lose them, then remember to never surrender to the Jealousy in you! Like what Jiaying mentioned, Love shouldn't hurt. But jealousy will hurt your friends and yourself.

Dating violence is when his/her partner gets agitated easily but he/she says he/she loves that someone very much. There are many similar cases in families. Mostly, the other partner or child suffers. He/she will start insulting, slapping, hitting or even force you to do what you do not wish to do. These conflicts can be resolved! Communication is important! Talk to one another but don’t put faults at anyone, keep an open mind. Love is important and essential in everyone. Everyone one needs love and so we need to love one another!

Well, I'm sure most of you, or rather all of you, have watched this commercial on TV before. It's touching, isn't it?
"Funeral" is a new TV commerical launched by the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) which looks at relationships in a different light, through an indian lady at her husband's funeral. From the above video, we can see that this lady really loved her husband a lot. She wouldn't mind her husband's snoring,and even regard this noisy snoring as an indication to whether her husband was still alive, when his illness was at his worse.
Loving a person is not judging a book by its appearance. It is beauty skin deep.
It is through the inner heart, that we determine how much we love the people around us. However, not everybody is perfect. People around us may have his or her individual bad habits and such. Only acceptance from the others, can make their imperfections beautiful, so beautiful that it makes those imperfects perfect.
So LOVE, can mean the acceptance of the imperfections of the people around us. Cherish them, before it's too late. LOVE them, because it's better late than never.

Just to add on what Christina had posted in the previous post!
As you all know, this VALUESVENTURE is a competition organised by The Girls' Brigade Singapore, to encourage responsible media engagement amoong her youth members. It's media tracks not only consist of the 'Setup a Themed Blog', it also has a 'Build a Widget' track. The most important thing is, our GB company, the 10th coy, managed to send teams to take part in both tracks! *claps claps* Our 'Build a Widget' team has made a widget based on the theme, ENCOURAGEMENT. And after reading Christina's post, I think that it would be good to share this wideget with you people!
As Christina said, love can be in the form of encouragement. And now, in this crucial examination period, students like us are MUGGING really hard. So, show love by encouraging your friends to continue working hard for SA1! They will be delighted to hear your encouragement!
