Today, my closest friend shared with me her family problem that she is facing right now. Her parents might be divorcing a few years later when her younger sister grows older and more mature. She also told me that a few years ago, her parents already wanted to divorce and even consulted a lawyer. Why is there no love in this family that was brought together? Where is love when it is needed? What was the main problem? Was love present in this situation?
I was utterly shocked when she told me that. I really do not know what to do at that time. Suddenly, I realize how fortunate I am to have such a wonderful and loving family. A family that contains no hatred or no violence.
Between a person and another, love must always be present. Loving those who were mean to you, your enemies. Loving includes showing care and concern, not taking the person for granted, encouragements and many more to the person and even to the extend where it is impossible to love. I decided to pray for her, encourage her and even show love to her especially when she does not feel loved.
