well, it is the first time I am posting here. Our blog is all about love values, meaning of love and how can we show love! Basically, we think that nowadays love carries a important meaning as we go around in the society.
Definition of love found in Dictionary.com:
used as noun-
> a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.
> a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or
friend.
used as verb-
> to have a profoundly tender, passionate
affection for (another person).
From here we can tell that love means showing care and concern for one another. But showing love does not mean only to someone you like, it can be anyone.
In my past secondary one year, for no reason this boy seems to dislike me. At first i thought, "Since he doesn't give me respect, why should I?"
But later i learnt that my disrespectful actions towards him have created a stronger, higher wall between both of us.
So i began to show love; i wrote encouragements cards for him, encouraging him. Though it is not very successful, but i can feel that he has lessen hatred towards me.
From here i can conclude that love is not only about caring, but also about showing respect to one another. Read the following idiom below that explains about our actions towards others.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
